Former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson wasn't out of a job for long.

Nearly two months after being laid off by ESPN,Michael Schmidt Johnson is set to become Skip Bayless’ new full-time co-host on the FS1 morning sports talk show “Undisputed," according to a New York Post report.

Bayless first introduced his new co-host on social media earlier this week, writing, "NEW DREAM TEAM ON THE NEW UNDISPUTED." But Bayless' announcement was premature, according to the Post, because Johnson was still under contract with ESPN after signing a four-year deal with the company last year prior to his termination.

Johnson reportedly reached a buyout on his $18 million contract with ESPN to clear the way for him to replace Shannon Sharpe, who departed the show in June.

REPORT: Richard Sherman to join Skip Bayless on 'Undisputed

Johnson previously served as an ESPN analyst for "Sunday NFL Countdown," "Monday Night Countdown," "Who's Now" and "Keyshawn, JWill and Man" with analysts Jay Williams and Max Kellerman.

He will join a revamped team at “Undisputed" that includes contributors Richard Sherman, Michael Irvin and Rachel Nichols. The show is expected to return from a summer hiatus on Monday.

Meanwhile, Sharpe has a new home too. He will be joining ESPN's "First Take" alongside Stephen A. Smith on Mondays and Tuesdays during the NFL season this fall.
